A little artist statement | I love to paint the landscape in miniature, but this time I have created three miniatures related to recent visits to the South coast. I work mainly in oils, but I have used gouache, which I also enjoy using. I see the beach as happy place. I look for related patterns, shapes and colour to create a joyful and pleasant design and paint it how I feel, creating an image that may just create a memory for someone in a different way.
