We are thrilled to welcome Melbourne Ceramicist Grace Brown back to GOST again. This time as a Returning Artist to our GOST stable. Earlier this year, Grace’s architectural home artworks were so popular that we had a sold out show. A first for Grace and a first for GOST.

I couldn’t have been more excited to share this wonderful achievement with an artist who has worked so hard in what has been a very difficult couple of years. Grace has maintained a sense of humour, resilience and determination to keep on going! I admire her passion and belief in pursuing a nearly full time practice (in addition to teaching) to make her career shine as a professional artist. Grace tells us a little about her works:

“ … Geometry and architecture form the basis of my inspiration which stems from my previous background in Fashion Design and pattern making resulting in a precise and often mathematical approach to building forms. My work is often modular and movable offering a dreamlike and utopian quality that is both playful, contemporary and encourages interaction … “.

Grace has created seven mini worlds for GOST. We feel very lucky to have these pieces and all I can say … is … get in quick!
