Title | A Loose Arrangement

Medium | Acrylic on canvas, framed ready to hang

Size | 25 × 3.5 × 50 cm

A little bit extra about the art from Sally | This work began with the loose structure of a floral arrangement, but I was more interested in what happened when the flowers stopped behaving like flowers. Petals, stems and vessels gradually shifted into forms that might also suggest an interior, a garden or something entirely invented. I wanted to keep the painting open and slightly unresolved, allowing recognition to come and go rather than settling into a single reading.
