A little Artist Statement about this painting | As the sunlight seeps from the day in the tiny village of Orquevaux, the quiet stillness replenishes the soul. Looking out over the lake from my studio window, the Orquevaux dusk palette of blues, greens and greys settles in and I long to be outside with the swan, letting that same quiet stillness wash over me.
