A little Artist Statement about this painting | On my way to Château d’Orquevaux for the first time, we drove through open fields glowing in autumn colours. In the distance, a lone silo caught my attention, reflecting the last light of the setting sun. Even before reaching the residency, the landscape had already stirred the urge to paint.
