A little Artist Statement about this painting | On a day trip to Le Signe, Centre National du Graphisme in Chaumont, we saw travel posters by greats such as Toulouse-Lautrec and Steinlen. Inspired to try it myself, I had to paint the old village with its colourful doors, uniquely shaped stair turrets, and give it a playful title to match.
