A little statement about this painting from Greg | The Eastern Shrike-tit is a small but striking Australian bird, instantly recognisable by its bold black, white and yellow plumage. I wanted to capture its alert, inquisitive character, quietly poised among the subtle colours and delicate forms of the surrounding eucalypt foliage.
