A little statement about this painting from Jane | On a recent residency in the Blue Mountains near Sydney there were many rosellas in the bush. Their dramatic crimson feathers made them stand out when close by, but strangely also acted as a perfect camouflage at a distance. Their blue tail feathers matched the colour of the distant mountains.
