A little statement from Fiona | I’ve camped and walked in the Cape Conran Coastal Park close to Orbost, Victoria for ten years and saw emu wrens for the first time in the 2026 summer. This was a personal birding highlight and had to be commemorated. The tail feathers are luxuriously, exorbitantly and outrageously long, feathery and fronds like a mini emu single tail feather on the tiniest bird. Exquisite.
