Homage to the bird | 26 September to 18 October 2026
Our Annual Spring Show will bloom in a few weeks. It’s perfect timing as Floriade - Canberra’s
biggest celebration of Spring - will be on at the same time.
Artworks are arriving and I’m enjoying chatting with the artists about their works. This is what I love as about my role - bringing together different art mediums and showcasing their Homage to the Bird. The artists:
Shannon Garson and Fiona Hiscock (Ceramics)
Jane Guthleben and Greg Oakley (Painting)
Martin King (Print)
Vicki Mason (Jeweller)
Tom Moore (Glass)
Colleen Southwell (Paper)
have each created a small series of works for GOST.
Think Wattle Bird, Owl, Wrens,
Pink Cockatoo (Major Mitchell)
and so much more.
The show will be open 7 days a week, 11-4 and by appointment.
If you can’t make it during the hours, contact Anne who can organise a time before or 11am or after 4pm. I can open for anyone who needs a quiet space, no music, low lights and be sensory friendly.

The gallery has re-opened for those who are craving a little visit as the weather warms (well in Canberra September can be a mixed bag!). We are open Thursdays to Sundays for these dates: 10-13 Sept and 17-20 Sept. The gallery will close 21-25 Sept so Anne can install/curate Homage to the Bird which opens 11am, 26 September 2026.
