Artist Statement for this series | Central to the work are words from and about the 2022 National Press Club address by Grace Tame and Brittany Higgins. Fearless women speaking truth to power. Their names appear as analogous fragments in white in on black paper juxtaposed with ring patterns and marks found in repurposed timber.
