Lee Leibrandt joins GOST | PhotoAccess Callout
FEATURE ARTIST - Lee Leibrandt
GOST is thrilled to announce Lee Leibrandt has joined GOST with her exquisite, small tapestry studies. These unique artworks are from a recent trip to the USA which was recently cut short due to the current crisis. Lee has been busy making while in isolation as well as immersing herself in the Vail Valley, Colorado early this year.
I used my own hand spun wool, mohair and a silky merino blend to convey the delicate impermanence of the snow-covered landscape. Look closely at some and you’ll see the glimmer of sunlight in the winter wonderland.
We only have 10 works and decided they are so special each one needed to be featured in a new way. While our bricks and mortar is closed, GOST is active in finding new ways to promote our artists and engage our audiences to enjoy artworks online. Callout! An initiative by GOST in partnership with PhotoAccess
GOST is delighted to announce it will team up with PhotoAccess – for a special group exhibition from 23 August to 6 September 2020.
This time PhotoAccess comes to GOST!
We are looking for expressions of interest to exhibit in this tiny yet exciting exhibition.
The theme is 20/20 | 20 x 20 | 2020. Artists are invited to propose new photographic artworks responding to the theme of perfect (20/20) vision in the year 2020.
All works must be 20 x 20cm in size.
