March 2020
Couture Milliner | Orange comes to GOST | Viennese Girl

Welcome to a new artist to GOST
Just before Christmas, I met the vivacious and talented Michaela Seabrook. She was keen to show me her bespoke hats and headpieces and felt GOST was the right gallery for these fine art creations. As soon as I saw the hat box, my insta chic radar was up and running with anticipation as to what was in there. She pulled out the most stylish hats that I didn't even hesitate to include her at GOST. We only have a few hats which means each one is bespoke and perfect for special occasions and everyday wear. The hats can only be purchased in person. A little bit of European savoir faire in our tiny gallery.

GOST and The Corner Store Gallery do a swap!

I am pleased to announce that I am partnering with Madeline Young-Holborow, who operates the fabulous The Corner Store Gallery in Orange, for a special exhibition in April 2020.  Madeline and I met in 2019 and realized how similar our businesses in supporting artists in their professional arts practices. The spaces are independently run with a focus to exhibit artists from locals to all over Australia. We even have our galleries located within walking distance of our homes and fit in seamlessly with the local community.
It seemed fitting to do a swap!

So, save the dates!

15 April to 2 May 2020 - The Corner Store Gallery featuring GOST artists
16 April to 3 May - GOST featuring The Corner Store Gallery artists

More information will be available soon on our websites and social media.

Viennese Girl
I was very lucky to have a month's getaway in one of Europe's prettiest cities - Vienna, Austria. I didn't realise how much I needed the break until I started to slow down and enjoy all that surrounded me. I soaked up Viennese culture from classic to contemporary art galleries, museums, design galleries, maker and designer shops still carrying on timeless traditions of the handmade and finally the cakes. Oh! my! I don't think I have ever eaten so many tortes in my life. Thankfully, I walked and walked the many streets in our neighbourhood Margareten to keep those calories at bay. I will do a travel blog on my trip soon as I love being able to pass on my travel tips on where to go, what to do and simply enjoy the little things that matter. In the meantime, here is a taster of my trip. Enjoy!
