The hex boxes are a 5-way inspiration, Japanese kumiko 1, geometry, timber threads, light and recycled timber. They are blended together to make a hexagonal light box with a kumiko inspired backing. A singular Hex-box maybe placed on a shelf or in a window or multiples can be “bolted together” to for a honey-comb like structure. Approx 200mm across small axis or 230 point to point and 90mm deep.
