3 weeks and 3 days to go | Christmas gifts | From Sydney to Gardening Australia
Only 3 weeks and 2 days to go before Christmas Day is upon us!
I always feel like Christmas flies and now it's countdown! Thanks to all our lovely repeat and new visitors who have supported us online and in person. It's been wonderful to see familiar and new faces again and see our artists supported through purchases for loved ones or even yourself. We have new works coming to you 3 times a week so make sure you check the online shop, Instagram and Facebook for updates..

New works continue to arrive and I'm trying hard to get them out online and in the shop. We are revealing the new works 3 times a week on Instagram & Facebook as well as the online shop. Works are getting snapped up quick so we recommend you get in early to avoid disappointment.
We will be open 7 days, 11am to 4pm the closing 4pm, Friday 24 December 2021
Which means more time for you to come in any day. Remember if you can't make 11am to 4pm contact Anne to see her outside of these hours. She's more than happy to open by appointment.
We will close from 25 December and reopen 11am, Thursday 6 January 2022.

From Woollahra, Sydney to Gardening Australia
Congrats to Christine Appleby and Sally Blake
As some of you may know, Textiles artist Christine Appleby was our inaugural EASS recipient as part of the ANU School of Art + Design Awards handed out to graduates. It's that time of year when Adam and I will once again participate as patrons and sponsor an Award to an Arts graduate for 2021. Christine has been blossoming since her first show with us back in May 2018. In August, she was one of 54 Australian and International artists short-listed for the 2021 Woollahra Small Sculpture Prize. While she may not have won we are incredibly proud of her given she was up against a record 844 entries! I think you can still vote for her for the public's choice so check out the link.
Adam and I love watching Gardening Australia and it was even more exciting when we saw Canberra textiles artist Sally Blake appear on My Garden Path. She was interviewed for her love and dedication to her arts practice, the environment and our future. Sally has been with us since we opened in September 2017 and I feel incredibly lucky to watch her leap bounds in her practice and we sincerely wish her all the best with her continued research into the connection between humans and nature and the fragility of life.
